To arrange a mortgage, lenders and we may carry out checks with credit reference agencies and fraud prevention agencies. These checks may appear on your credit file. The agencies may keep a record of the search and share information with other organisations for the purposes of assessing applications and preventing fraud and money laundering. If you provide false or inaccurate information and we suspect or identify fraud, we will record this and may pass details to these agencies.

After this we securely delete or anonymise it.
